Expertise and craftsmanship: that´s what Maltha stands for. We are constantly looking for new applications for glass waste. To do so we connect our knowledge and skill with those of renowned parties. For example, we are an interlocutor for all kinds of glass issues that arise throughout the material chain.
We think primarily from the customer´s perspective when developing new products. In brief, we innovate in the area of processing and in the area of collection. Together with our specialised partners we deliver user-friendly and safe collection facilities for your glass waste, in combination with intelligent and efficient logistics.
Naturally, in the processing of glass waste we also seek to create maximum residual value. For example, with TreeSand+ we found a sustainable application for the CSP fraction (Ceramic/Stone/Porcelain, now a contaminant in glass). TreeSand+ contains special CSP material from Maltha in order to give extra room for the roots of young trees to develop, while at the same time preventing pavement subsidence problems.
We are also closely involved in the development of special civil-engineering applications with glass (in combination with lighting and energy) and many other innovation projects.
